If you receive a ballot for the wrong base, do not vote. If you vote, you will not be able to get another ballot for your own base.  Instead, contact returning officer Lou Arab at and he will cancel your ballot and issue one to you for the correct base election.

For all elections, you must be a CUPE member to vote. If you have not yet signed a membership card and paid your $5 initiation fee, you can do so on line here: Non-members who sign up before Friday at 5:00 pm MST will get a chance to vote in the election that ends the following Monday evening.

Possible job action at Flair
CUPE Local 4060 represents Flight Attendants at Flair. Members have voted 98% in favour of a strike after the employer tabled bargaining proposals aimed at cutting wages by as much as $10/hour and began paying new hires at the lower rate.

CUPE has served strike notice and job action could start as early as midnight tonight.

Lower wages and working conditions at Flair will hurt Flight Attendants across the industry. Our fellow CUPE members are taking this action as much for us as for themselves.

BACKGROUNDER: Learn more about the Flair strike here.

If you see picket lines for these members, please take some time to stop by and offer support. Walking the line for an hour or two, handing out materials to customers, even buying coffee for picketers are all meaningful ways to help.
